Empowering Access to Design Technology Education
Summary
Access to Design education is essential for empowering individuals from systemically underfunded and underprivileged groups, even more so within the context of greater London Boroughs. However, systemic barriers often hinder these communities from accessing the resources necessary for design education. This research aims to address this disparity by harnessing the potential of Technology and integrating these as an educational tool, I seek to provide an innovative and inclusive solution that democratises design education for marginalised groups specifically within the greater London area. The primary objective of this research is to develop a comprehensive framework that combines technologies to empower underprivileged groups in London by increasing access to design education. I hope to identifying new solution using technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR), Artificial intelligence (AI), inform, educate, and create an inclusive socio-conomic, circular economy which will foster trust in local communities, professionals in the design community and stakeholders alike.
