This exhibition explores the encounter of dialect through the works of young artists who met in London (including Neo Jiapu Gao, MRes Alumni) but work in different mother tongues. It addresses an alternative return to the ‘marginal regions’ in the context of globalized localization, seeking ways to reconstitute society through metaphor and allegory and to find a homeland and individual narrative that transforms with the movement of people.
